Thank you for including me in this important discussion. It was my first time using video-conference, but it seemed good. Unfortunately, I woke up today very sick--fever, aching, etc. I just got back from the doctor. I don't think I have the energy to prepare remarks for tonight. Instead, I need to rest and sleep. I hope you understand. In general, I planned on remarking about i consigli di fabbrica and taylorism, and connecting these themes to autonomia's notion of composizione di classe, and how refusal of work becomes deterritorialized as the logic of the factory extends deeper into social relations. The central legacy of Gramsci is the disciplinary effect of capital on social behavior that he discusses in Fordism, and is connected to the fabbrica-societa by Sergio Bologna in a journal called "Primo Maggio" and by Toni Negri with his discussion of the "social worker". Once again, I hope you understand. I am going to take a "Theraflu" medicine and sleep.
